17 Times Over

17 Times Over Book is the 2016 winner of the Best Student Book Award prize given by the Best British Book Design & Production Awards. This book was designed to celebrate the 17 bridges along the River Liffey in Dublin city centre. It is categorised in the form of a series of booklets which are colour coded. These booklets depict the 8 different themes of the bridges of Dublin, for example; Cast Iron, Trio of Arches, Sister Bridges, The Writers, etc.

The booklets are bound together to form one deluxe book. This book is part of a larger project called 17 Times Over, a project celebrating the bridges of Dublin. This book is expose bound which exposes the coloured sections at the spine. It fits into a slip case. This slip case was laser cut, glued together and painted white. The design detail on the front of the case relates to the pattern that is evident throughout the larger project, 17 Times Over.

This project was completed as part of final year in university, in 2016.
